This was a lucky “find” as I was trolling the audible bookshelves during a recent trip to the library In retrospect, I would love to ask the author if perhaps it was done on purpose. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good thriller, with a heady mix of history, but I would also ask you to read The Historian before this even though it has a sort of anticlimactic ending.


For those who choose their audio books based on the reader, you should note that this one is dl by many readers Anne Heche and Treat Williams to name a few, but the reading was sort of flat and blah. His closeness is her comfort, the small human note in a sublime landscape.
